Craig is renowned for his historical accurany and technical detail. He
is a graduate of Hartwick College with a degree in Fine Arts. His works
have been shown in museums such as the National Canadian Museum
of Flight, the National Museum of Naval Aviation, the Mighty Eighth Air
Force Museum, the US Air Force Museum, Annapolis and the US
Pentagon. Craig is an Artist Fellow of the American Society of Aviation
Artists (ASAA). He is a member of the Coast Guard Art Program
(COGAP), with works in the Coast Guard Art Collection and does work
for the Navy, as well. Craig's works can also be found in the
collections of major corporations and unions, and also in the homes of
serious art collectors internationally.
His fascination with the interaction of man and machine, along with his
love of history and country life, has been the motivation for the
subjects of his work.
Craig was a heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers Local
825. The income generated from working on major projects such as
the construction of the Monksville Dam and Interstate Route 287,
allowed him to finance, design and build alone, his dream home and
studio in the mountains of northern New Jersey back in 1988. He has
worked full time as an Artist since 2000.
