Aviation Artist Joe Kline is a former helicopter crew chief with the U.S.
Army's 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. His art depicts the
bravery of the Huey Crews during the Vietnam War.

About the Artist Joe Kline:
Joe Kline was born in Washington, DC in 1949. He traces
his interest in aviation to his father, who was a B-25
bombardier in the European theater of operations during
World War II. Knowledge of his subject matter came from
reading and model building at an early age, He garnered
valuable first-hand knowledge while serving as a
helicopter crew chief with the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne
Division in Vietnam in 1970-71.

Although he has painted a wide variety of aviation
subjects, his primary interest is in military aviation,
especially for the World War II and Vietnam eras. He has
works on display at the U.S. Air Force Museum and the
U.S. Army Aviation Museum. Recipients of his work
include many former military aviators, including General
James H. Doolittle and President George Bush.

Joe is a life member of Vietnam Helicopter Crew
Members Association, 101st Airborne Division
Association and he is the founder of the Kingsmen
Reunion Association. He is an engineer by profession
and lives in Gilroy, California with his wife and three
daughters.
