"Rolling In"
$50.00
18 inches X 26 inches (16 X 24 image size).
Edition of 500 signed and numbered prints.

By the late-1960s, the Air Force needed a replacement for
the aging, AC-47D "Spooky". In 1968, Project Gunship III
was initiated using the Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar
transport as the airframe platform. Because of the urgent
need for gunships in Vietnam, the Air Force decided to
create two models of the AC-119. The second, represented
in this image, was designated the AC-119K "Stinger."

This was the second of two comissioned pieces by the
AC-119 Gunship association: www.ac-119gunships.com
