"Skimming the Alps"

January 1945 was the last time during the war that Col. Clarence
"Bud" Anderson and Gen. Chuck Yeager flew together as
members of the 357th Fighter Group. After the mission, they
were free to return to base, but instead chose to joyride across
France and into neutral Switzerland.
