Inspired by the sterling work carried out by Brian McGuire, an American based at
Molesworth, this painting is an accurate depiction of the 303rd returning from the
first Schweinfurt Raid.
As with all of Mark's paintings, the detail in the picture including the airfield layout
and aircraft markings are wholly authentic and provide a historical record of the day.
The prints were signed in the US at a 303rd BG reunion back in 1998
